For Persian Thanks this year, the Bay Area Chapter volunteered with The Excelsior Community Food Pantry in San Francisco on Saturday, November 19, 2011 from 10 am to 1 pm. The Excelsior Community Food Pantry currently serve about 200 families in need every Saturday. Click here for more information about Excelsior Community Food Pantry.

More than 15-20 volunteers helped sort and deliver donated food to the Excelsior community. The Chpater also accepted donations which the Chapter delivered to Excelsior on Saturday.
