PAAIA NexGen New York is pleased to announce the second meeting of our Leadership and Professional Development Forum (LPDF), a series of 2 hour workshops aimed at empowering the next generation of Iranian Americans with valuable leadership skills and professional competencies. The program consists of 10 sessions that will be scheduled on the last Wednesday evening of each month. Our executive speakers will focus on topics critical to the professional development of our members and share insightful career experiences that led to their success. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with a dynamic and talented group of Iranian Americans committed to leadership, community building, and personal and professional growth.

Speaker's Bio
Tamilla Ghodsi is a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs & Co. in New York. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs in 1997, Tamilla practiced tax law at White & Case in New York from 1994 to 1997. She earned a BA, with honors, in Economics and International Studies from Northwestern University in 1991. She received her JD, cum laude, in 1994 from the University of Michigan Law School, and an LL.M. in Taxation from the New York University School of Law in 1997. At the University of Michigan Law School, Tamilla served as editor-in-chief of the Michigan Journal of International Law from 1993 to 1994 and authored the article Tying a Slipknot: Temporary Marriages in Iran, 15 Mich. J. Int'l L. 625 (1994).

Workshop Presenter's Bio
Dr. Pejman Azarmina is a Medical Director at Pfizer, Adjunct Professor at Baruch's Healthcare MBA program and the Founder of Thinkocrats, a community that promotes holistic leadership and systems thinking. Dr. Azarmina is a primary care physician by background with specialist training in Healthcare Management and Medical Informatics. He currently serves as the Vice Chair of Leadership & Professional Development at PAAIA NexGen NY Chapter.
