PAAIA NexGen Introduces New Board for 2015

June 6, 2015, Washington, DC – PAAIA NexGen is proud to announce the 2015 National NexGen Board has been reorganized with a renewed commitment to strengthen the next generation of Iranian American leaders. The National NexGen Board consists of the following individuals and positions:

 

Setareh Ebrahimian, Chair

Kamak Ebadi, Program Development Chair

Shaheen Ensanyat, Membership Chair

Amir Farokhi, Conference Chair

Lilly Kazemenia, Finance Chair

Alireza Mehrzad, Marketing and Communications Chair

 

Under the direction of Dr. Firouz Naderi, NexGen’s Advisor, NexGen is scheduled to hold its second Leadership Conference in Santa Clara, California on July 31 – August 2, 2015. The Board has also reinstated the PAAIA Mentorship Program for the 2015-2016 academic year.

Setareh explains that the 2015 National Board is grateful to Nellie Kargar and Alen Takhsh for their significant contributions to NexGen over the past few years, and is eager to follow in their footsteps to achieve NexGen’s vision of cultivating a network of young Iranian-Americans.
