PAAIA's activities are carried out or funded by two affiliated nonprofit organizations: PAAIA which is a 501(c)(4) organization, and PAAIA Fund which is a 501(c)(3) organization. To maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of their operations, these two organizations are governed by overlapping boards of directors and share employees and staff.
Members of the Board of Directors of PAAIA Fund are appointed for two year terms by the Board of Directors of PAAIA, and may not serve in that capacity for more than two consecutive terms.
