Profiles

Profiles of Iranian Americans

PAAIA is producing a series of interviews that will be featured on the website entitled "Profiles of Iranian Americans" featuring prominent and less recognized Iranian Americans who have distinguished themselves in American society in the fields of art, science, business, entertainment, sports, politics or philanthropy, and who otherwise may have a compelling life story.

US Surveys

Survey of American Perceptions of Iranian Americans

PAAIA is the first Iranian American organization that engages in active image building and countering the negative stereotypes that are sometimes associated with our community. To identify our community's image gap, PAAIA has commissioned a public opinion survey of the American public at large concerning their perceptions of Iranians and Iranian Americans.

Surveys

Survey of Iranian Americans

In order to be a grassroots organization that truly represents the Iranian American community, PAAIA is gathering accurate demographic and attitudinal information about the Iranian American community by conducting a scientific public opinion survey of Iranian Americans, an undertaking that is unprecedented for our community and will be essential to PAAIA's community building objectives.

Teacher Workshop

WACA Annual Teacher's Workshop on Iran

Every year, the World Affairs Council of America (WACA) holds an Annual Teacher's Workshop in Washington D.C., bringing together high school teachers from across the country for a three-day educational workshop on a select topic of international affairs. PAAIA is sponsoring this year's event, and in return, the topic of the Workshop this year will be "Iran." PAAIA will work with the WACA to identify and invite speakers and the specific topics of the workshop, which will be held on July 8-11.
