One of PAAIA’s principal missions is to advocate and advance policies and legislation at the local, state and national levels on matters of interest or concern to Iranian Americans and in furtherance of the best interests of our community.

Activities & Accomplishments

Learn about our recent activities and accomplishments on behalf of the Iranian American community. Since its public launch in April 2008 PAAIA has made significant strides towards accomplishing its mission. Highlights include the passage of the Nowruz Resolution in the U.S. Congress and the formation of a 2010 Census Coalition aimed at securing an accurate count of Iranian Americans.
