Empowering Future Leaders in Public Service

The Ansari Public Service Fellowship empowers young Iranian Americans to explore careers in government, public policy, and service. Accepted fellows receive a $2,500 stipend to support their participation in a qualified summer internship within the public sector.

This fellowship allows students to gain real-world experience while receiving mentorship from seasoned Iranian American professionals working in public service and policy.

Program Overview

What?

The Ansari Public Service Fellowship is a summer fellowship program that encourages and empowers young Iranian Americans to pursue careers in public service. Young Iranian Americans who are accepted for the fellowship receive a stipend for taking summer internships in public service.

The Civic Leadership Program also provides fellows mentorship opportunities via access to a network of Iranian American public policy experts. Our mission is to help give rise to an unprecedented generation of Iranian American leaders in government, policy, and public service.

Who Can Apply?

  • Incoming or current college students
  • Graduate students
  • Recent graduates
    Best suited for students pursuing political science, public policy, government, history, economics, or journalism — though all are welcome with a demonstrated interest in public service.
