Inspiring the Next Generation of Iranian American Civic Leaders

The Civic Leaders Summit is a week-long immersive experience in Washington, D.C., designed to inspire and empower young Iranian Americans to become civic leaders.

This competitive program introduces students to the importance of civic participation through dialogue, hands-on activities, and meetings with elected officials, policy experts, and community leaders. Participants build a national network of motivated peers who share their identity and commitment to public service.

What

Students participate in workshops, advocacy training, policy discussions, and leadership development while connecting with inspiring speakers and fellow Iranian American students. The Summit is hosted at American University in Washington, D.C.

  • Current high school students who identify as Iranian American
  • Students with a strong interest in civic engagement, leadership, and public service
