Iranian Canadian Director Taking Film to Tehran’s International Film Festival

The Veil is Director Shahin Sayadi’s adaptation of exiled Iranian novelist Masoud Behnoud’s bestseller Khanoom. The epic story is an Eastern woman’s perspective on 20th century history as it follows Khanoom, a Persian princess, across Iran, Turkey, Russia and Europe through decades of personal and political history.
