Washington, DC – In light of new sanctions announced by President Trump, the Public Affairs Alliance of Iranian Americans (PAAIA) has issued the following statement:

“PAAIA remains focused on urging the Trump administration to follow through on its commitment to diplomacy. Concrete avenues for a diplomatic resolution with Iran are needed to shift the United States away from a dangerous confrontation in the Middle East. Meaningful negotiation is the only way to protect U.S. interests and end this crisis.”
